INSEMINATION TERMS

FOR ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATION

WITH  FRESH SEMEN

The breeding fee is

for El Sid 2.200,00 €,

 for Vergil 1.950,00 €,  

(add. 7 % tax) for one mare in the breeding season 2010.

Should the mare fail to conceive, die or not produce a live foal for a period of not less than 24 hours from the time of birth, the mare owner has the right to rebreed this mare or substitute mare (upon the approval of Osterhof Stud) in the breeding season 2011. If  this rebreeding should be without success the mare owner can try again to rebreed in 2012 for a consideration from 50 % of the breeding fee.

Terms of Payment: (cooled semen)

complete for El Sid 2.200,00 € , for Vergil 1.950,00 €  before semen shipment.

Also before semen shipment are to be paid 1 x transport costs and 1 x semen production costs in advance.

For sending from our stud, the fees for transport are calculated separately for each one.

Semen  production costs are calculated separately.

Cooled semen production costs:

For each semen shipment € 100,00 (add. 19 % tax)

In this costs is included a styrofoam box for the shipment. This box has not to be sent back. In case the shipment is be done in a container this container  has to be sent back as soon as possible.

The mare owner and the veterinary of the mare is obligated to fill out the semen report correctly.

The semen report has to be sent back as soon as possible.

Insemination reports will not be delivered before all costs are paid and all containers are back.
