1. The semen collection will be made with the "Equidame“ phantom
2. The boarding rate per day is € 15.00 plus 7% tax
3. All formalities which are necessary to obtain the license for a "stallion with insemination permission" will be done from Osterhof Stud upon payment of € 250,00 plus 19% tax. All other costs such as veterinary fees, insemination permission charges, and so on will be settled with the stallion owner and the institutes directly or the charges will be charged to the stallion owner by Osterhof Stud.
4. In the case of cooled semen shipment the collection is € 100,00 plus 19% tax and to be paid per semen collection. Within these charges are included: - all material costs which are necessary for the semen collection and preparation of the semen with extenders - semen shipment including all formalities which are necessary for shipment such as federal veterinarian health certificate or customs documents - semen shipment styrpfoam box with cooling cells. Any extra costs resulting through the shipment or simular costs are to be paid by the stallion owner. These costs will be charged to the stallion owner by Osterhof Stud or are to be paid by the stallion owner to the shipment company directly. Semen shipment occurs without warrantee.
5. For the frozen semen collection a flat sum of € 240,00 will be charged per ejaculate. For the preperation of the frozen semen for shipping, €100,00 in Europe and € 200,00 for shipments out of Europe per shipment is to be paid to Osterhof Stud. Within the charges are included:
- placing of frozen semen into a special frozen semen container
- preparation of the frozen semen container with liquid nitrogen
- all formalities which are required for the shipment (federal veterinarian health certificate, customs documents, etc)
Any extra costs resulting through the shipment or simular costs are to be paid by the stallion owner. These costs will be charged to the stallion owner by Osterhof Stud or are to be paid by the stallion owner to the shipment company directly. Semen shipment occurs without warrantee. Prices add. 19% tax.
6. During the time that the stallion is in the custody of Osterhof Stud neither the Stud owners nor their employees shall be liable for any sickness, disease, stray, theft, death or injury which may be suffered by the stallion, arising out of or connected in any way with semen collection, boarding or conditioning of the stallion (or resulting through an Act of God) unless the damage occurs intentionally or due to gross negligence. The Osterhof Stud undertakes no responsibility for the quality of the produced semen with the exception of proven grossly negligent handling. Osterhof Stud takes no responsibility for damages if this damages are not covered from the liability insurance from the stud. The stallion owner renounces all claims for compensation against Osterhof Stud for all damages on persons, things and assets in case this damages are not covered from the insurance from the stud. The insurance from Osterhof Stud was informed that the stallion is on stud. The fees which are calculated to Osterhof Stud from the insurance for the accommodating from the stallion will be charged to the stallion owner. The stallion owner confirms with his signature that the stallion is liability insured. The stallion owner confirms with his signature that his stallion is life insured covering the current value of the stallion The stallion owner comfirms with his sign that there is a life insurance, amount insured .............................. € and that this sum corresponds to the real value of the stallion.
